Ginetta Challenge 2010

In 2010 the highly popular Texaco Havoline Ginetta G20 Cup and Ginetta Club will be merged to form the Ginetta Challenge. The new format  will see the challenge aimed more towards the club racer but still keeping the perks of being on one of the UK's premier racing calenders, the British Formula 3 and GT championships.

It is to be contested over 7 rounds, with a mix of one and two day events totalling 14 races. The tyre from the club series, the Michelin Exalto will be adopted for this season and entry fees have been halved. Pump fuel can also be used. These drastic changes to teh cup format can only lead to larger grid sizes and healthier competition. The provisional calender can be seen below.

Senior Championship 2010


The Ginetta Challenge will again support the British F3/GT Package, hosted by the SRO in 2010. The grid is limited to 32 spaces, of which Reflex Racing GB has four drives available. Spaces are alloted on a first come, first served basis. The entry fee for the championship is £350 + VAT per race weekend, with a £650 + VAT registration fee. Track time will total 70 minutes as follows:
    • 15 Minutes Qualifying;
    • 2 x 20 minute races;
    • 15 minutes free practice (Where available).
