New for 2010 is the one make series from the legendary tuning company Abarth. Already highley popular in Europe, the packed grids will see these Italian racers visit 6 UK circuits and a "European Cup" in their home circuit of Monza. They will support various high profile series on the UK calendar, including the popular F3/GT easter meeting, aswell as the British Superbikes and World Touring Cars.

Trofeo Abarth 500 GB Championship Details
The championship will be contested over 7 race weekends, totalling 14 rounds. A prize fund of £40,000 has been offered for the inaugural season. Each weekend will consist of:- Free Practice
- 20 min. Qualifying
- 2 x 30min. Races
The championship winning driver will receive an Abarth 500 road car worth £15,000 while the winning team will win a race engine and gearbox valued at £10,000.
The series will also offer race by race prize money totalling £12,600. First place will receive £400 per race. Second place will be awarded £300 and third place will win £200. Winning teams will be awarded trophies on the podium after each race.
