Sponsored by Texaco, the Ginetta Challenge is a popular, highly attractive, very competitive and low cost race series.
Its success over the past three seasons, where the championship has bucked the general trend in British club racing by increasing grid sizes and providing close racing, has yet again ensured it a slot on the support package on the British Formula 3 and GT Championships calendar.
To ensure the F3/GT races don’t hog all the limelight, the profile of the series is enhanced by the running of celebrity cars funded by top Playstation game, Grand Turismo 4.
Still to be announced, previous guest drivers have included Tony Jardine, and Vicki Butler-Henderson, Shane Lynch, Richard Dunwoody, Luther Blissett, Tiff Needell and F1 design supremo Adrian Newey.
